Wow! So many powerful, purposeful, and praise-worthy moments in this book! The author is raw and candid about the twists and turns in her life from sexual abuse by her stepfather to having a stroke while live on air to being abandoned by her husband. She doesn’t let that define her, though. She finds her faith and her friendships that empower her to pick herself up off the ground, brush off the dust and lend a hand to the next gal who needs the same. The book reads like a conversation between girlfriends staying up late and edifying each other through laughter and tears. This book is for every woman who ever had a bad day. Enjoy!

Listen, don’t start reading this book if you have something you need to do because you won’t be able to put it down. :) But what should I have expected from a veteran journalist other than a well written book which is very engaging and helps you put life into Perspective. Great read
